NEWS: AIMS Summer School 2025 Applications OPEN!

The Association of Irish Musical Societies (AIMS) is thrilled to announce the very much anticipated and always quick to fill AIMS Summer School / Youth Workshop for 2025!

This is a fantastic opportunity for young performers to immerse themselves in a week dedicated to the performing arts.

What is the AIMS Youth Workshop?

This fully residential workshop offers a unique chance for young stars to spend an entire week focused on developing their stagecraft skills.

Music, drama, dance, and acting are top of the agenda, providing an intensive and rewarding experience in a supportive environment. Participants will create lasting moments and memories throughout this special week.

When and Where?

• Dates: Sunday, June 29th to Friday, July 4th, 2025

• Location: The Ursuline Convent, Thurles

Showcase Concert

The week will culminate in a special concert showcasing the participants' hard work and talent. Family and friends are invited to attend:

Costs and Application Details

• Total Cost: €350 per participant for the full residential week.

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of €200 is required with the application form to secure a place.

  • Deposit Deadline: Friday, May 9th, 2025 (NOTE: based on last year, the places are likely to fill well before the deadline!)

    
    

• Balance Payment: The remaining balance of €150 is due by:

Bursary Opportunities

AIMS is also pleased to offer financial assistance. There are two half-bursaries available to applicants within each AIMS region. Please inquire with your reps/regional commitee for further details during the application process if needed.
